  The Shandle is designed for toilet seats that have a flat bottom. The Shandle will NOT work on toilet seats with a curved bottom or toilet seats that are made with cushioning covered in vinyl.

Will the Shandle come off my toilet seat?
  No, the Shandle will not come off once it is attached to your toilet seat. It uses a permanent adhesive to bond to the toilet seat and is designed to last. If you would like to remove the Shandle from the toilet seat take proper safety precautions when doing so.
Will the Shandle interfere with me using the toilet?
  No. Toilets are typically below the knee level; therefore when the user is seated the leg will be elevated above the Shandle. We recommend you place the Shandle below the first seat cushion to ensure it doesn't interfere with using the toilet.
